Burglary at Maryland School for the Deaf - Frederick MD

INCIDENT/ INFORMATION: At approximately 0800 hrs. this date officers of the Frederick Police Departments Patrol Squad “D” responded to a burglary complaint.  The complaint involved a break-in at the Maryland School for the Deaf at the Career and Technology Building on S. Carroll St.  During the incident forced entry was made into the building and multiple offices and classrooms were ransacked and property destroyed.  Currency and tools were stolen as well as a 1995 GMC Truck belonging to a staff member.  The truck was parked inside the building in a garage area.  Follow up investigation into this matter will be conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division.
